Who we are

Cooper & Co. Luxury Photo Booths is a sole trader business operated by Daisy Cooper, based in Nottingham. We provide luxury photo booth hire for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, proms and other celebrations across Nottinghamshire and the UK.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Daisy Cooper is the Data Controller, meaning we are responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is used.

What data we collect and why

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, contact number, email address, event type and date, and the details of your message. Your name allows us to address you personally, your email is how we get back to you, and your event details help us check availability and make sure our response is actually useful to you.

The lawful basis for collecting all of this is legitimate interests, put simply, you've reached out to us and we need this information to reply.

If you go on to book with us, we may also hold your event details such as your venue, date and chosen package as part of our booking records. This is necessary for us to fulfil our contract with you.

How we use your information

Your information is used only for the following purposes:

— To respond to your initial enquiry
— To follow up on a quote or booking discussion
— To manage your booking if you go ahead
— To send event-related information (confirmation, logistics, gallery link)

We will not use your data for marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit permission, and we will never sell or pass your details to third parties for their own marketing use.

If your enquiry does not lead to a booking, we will hold your details for up to 6 months from the date of your last contact, after which they will be securely deleted.

If you book with us, we will retain your personal data for up to 2 years after your event date. This allows us to handle any follow-up queries and meets standard small business record-keeping expectations. After this period, your data will be securely deleted.

Cookies & website analytics

Our website is hosted on Wix. Wix may use cookies to support the functionality of the site, including the contact form. If we use any analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our website, this will be noted here and managed in line with our cookie notice.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you're in control of your personal data. Here's what that means in plain terms — and you can get in touch at any time to use any of these rights by emailing daisy@cooperandcobooths.co.uk.

You can ask to see what we hold. If you'd like to know exactly what information we have about you, just ask and we'll send you a copy.
You can ask us to correct something. If anything we've got on file is wrong or out of date, we'll update it.
You can ask us to delete your data. If you'd like us to remove your information and we don't have a good reason to keep it, we will.
You can ask us to stop using it. If you're not comfortable with how we're using your data, you can ask us to stop — even if we have a legitimate reason for using it.
You can ask us to pause using it. If you've raised a concern and want us to hold off while it's being sorted, we can do that.
You can ask for a copy to take elsewhere. If you want your data in a format you can use or share, we can provide that too.
